Points of Interest

Behind the Nagarathar choultry is Vairava Theertham, a sacred spring said to have miraculous powers. Vairavanpatti temple is known for its nagara viduthi, a building rich with sculpture and woodwork. The kalamandapam has several wall paintings dating to this period and they include ten avatars of Vishnu, the five Pandavas and Draupadi, and the presiding deities

Location 15 kms from Karaikkudi.
